Tom, don't go there. My wife knows that number down to the ounce...
I just got to where I can break even with the store prices and now she is begging me not to bring home 500# of Halibut this year.... How can I not do that? then the price per pound will go way back up there _________________

Hey Dan, that clip hits pretty close to home. I peg the actual costs for fish & game at reasonable market prices. The difference between market price and the actual cost falls under the heading of "cereberal therapy" and is thereby arguably justified.
Ain't this 40 below weather we're getting making you long for a time warp which will hasten soft water, dirt and and warmer temps? Not to mention doing some more of that therapy stuff.
Chilling out in Fairbanks! _________________ Mark on Mighty Bite |

Bummer on the deep snow this year. Could be worse though, I still need a ladder to get on the roof. That's a good thing! I put up an A-Frame to cover the boat and I have been blowing snow all winter to keep it away from the boat and trailer so I can access it readily. Just hope that the snow will back off so I don't have to shovel the roof.
We're on a downhill slide now, what with the days getting longer. Keep the faith........spring is around the corner............errrr, although admittedly, a long corner! Once the rays really start beating on the snow and it starts to warm, that trailer will get visable pretty fast!
Have a good one and if you get a break, give me a shout and I'll buy the coffee. Mark 456-7306 |
