I was just able to contact a friend and co-worker that lives in La Conchita. His house and the house of his x-wife are both lost. Him and his kids are ok, his x-wife was one of the first 3 to be rescued and airlifted out. She will survive. She was pretty beat up and has several broken bones.
I'm still trying to contact another friend whose house was at the east end of the back road, near the edge of the slide. His father lost a house in the '95 slide. _________________ Roger

Roger: Just want you to know I have all the west side folks in my prayers. We had a very ruff huricane season over on our side and appreciated the prayers and support from yalls side. See you soon at the SBS and the factory gathering.

Yeah, the pictures were just horrifying. Our thoughts are with everyone in that area...
