Did you read about the 17 year old senior quarterback from Springfield, Illinois who completed a 37 yard pass that made him the conferences's career passing leader during the final play of a high school game? Three days after the game, Nate Haasis requested that his pass be wiped from the books because he realized that both teams' coasches had rigged plays to allow him the new record.
"What happened is that with less than a minute left in what would turn out to be a 42-20 loss, Southeast coach Neal Taylor called a timeout, walked onto the field and huddled with Cahokia coach Antwyne Golliday. They agreed to a deal that allowed Cahokia to score, uncontested, in exchange for allowing Haasis to do the same on the record-breaking pass."
This certainly says a lot for the high standards of this young fellow! |

My boating interest has cooled lately due to H.S. football..this is an exciting year for the local youtt. Our boys lined up against the #4 team that was WAY bigger and predicted to blow out LaCenter but team work and speed prevailed LC 42 Stiellywho 21. Jr B.W. had a good game, next week it's off to the Tacoma dome for the 2A semi finals.

I'd like to offer Taboo this timely response: I was watching another great Apple Cup. Those mighty Huskies did it again!

Hey, I guess it would have made more sense to promote Junior Buckwheat's Saturday game on this thread. I want to try to do the right thing, as I certainly don't want to upset our Duel Poob Administration. |

Hmmm...not being either a Husky or a Cougar (a Viking [Western Washington] and a Scarlet Knight [Rutgers]), it really doesn't mean a hill of beans to me, except my ex law partner was a Cougar punter in the 70s, and I despised NewWeasel and can't stand the hypocrit Benson - er Hedges, and the smug attitude "We proved we are still the Huskies and they are still the Cougars." Bah, humbug!
But back to the main topic - GO LaCENTER!!

Hi All,
Heather Cook scored the lone goal in the Red Storms 1-0 win over Pittsburg. Why is this being posted on the C-Brats web site???
Because she is the Grand daughter of one of our very own C-Brats that is why. Boy am I proud of her. I even posted a picture in the Scoripo album of the page in the "THE TORCH" Which is the official student newspaper of ST. John's University Queens New York that shows a full page picture of her. She has had a 6 year full sport scholarship to the university. _________________
