Well, the Moen single handle faucet that we put in Daydream last year leaks all over the place, Barry took a look at Indian Cove, but the literature was too skimpy and the Moen help line was a mere hour and a half wait. I believe Jim and Laurie's Moen is leaking on Laura Jo, and if I am not mistaken, that was a custom fit sponge around the base of Roger and Janet's Moen on Dreamer. Besides custom fitting my own sponge, any great ideas? _________________

I assume you already looked here at Moen's faucet repair site and that didn't help? _________________ Roger on Meant to be |

Its either the cartridge or the o-ring on the cartridge.
All Moen single handle faucets take the same cartridge, 1200 or 1225, get the plastic one, not the brass.
Sometimes the cartridges tend to "weld" themselves in so it can be tough getting it out (may need a cartridge puller). Of course the price of the cartridge puller and the cartridge will be about the same as the faucet. Moen will send you the cartridge for free - if you want to wait six weeks.
Should be able to get one at Lowes or Home Depot.
(or as my wife the plumber says - should of put a Grohe in.)
Cheers,

Pat,
Sorry you're having trouble so soon with the faucet. Ours is working fine. The sponge is to catch the drips from wet hands operating the faucet. Having said that, I'm sure it will bite the big one next time out! _________________ Roger
