I was just looking at the Seattle Boat Show signup and saw that Chica is from Butte Montana. I have a sister who lives in Butte and the only water I saw there was a big pit and I don't think you boat there. Where is the good boating in or near Butte? Just curious. By the way I think Butte and the surrounding area is very beautiful and my sister loves it so don't think I am making fun here. Thanks Deb |

Digger here...I also was born and raised in Butte. Only good water for boating that is close would be Canyon Ferry -- Gates of the Mountains near Helena, Georgetown Lake outside of Anaconda, and the Flathead Lake area north of Missoula. Those would be the closest, I believe. Ron
By the way, living in Spokane, we got great lake access including: Coeur d'Alene and the 2 rivers feeding it, upper and lower Priest, Pend Oreille, Roosevelt, Moses Lake, plus some smaller like Hayden, Sullivan. _________________ previous snoopy-c owner, previous c-miner owner, current C-Sik owner(22 angler) |
