Tim, you're such a nice man. Now that Patti girl on the beer boat, she's quite another matter. Yes, yes, I know. You happened to drop in to my office one day last month to find me engaged in a very rare undertaking. I was actually taking a brief peek at the C-Brat site. What are the chances of that! Still: Busted.

Not by the work boss but by the Brat Boss. Oh, I tried to tell her she'd just witnessed the equivalent odds of Haileigh's Comet, but I guess she's not one to embrace the truth.

Hi everyone,

I live on the Wet Coast of BC - Southern Vancouver Island to be exact. I am looking for a used C-Dory 16 cruiser. There are a couple listed in the C-Dorys for sale, but I haven't been able to get a response from anyone. Any ideas?

For the last 4 weeks, John and I have been following all the exciting events things that you C-Brats have been doing. Of course, we have been following everything on the C-Brat web site. Three weeks ago, John had a 5 way by-pass surgery, which ended his boating for this season. He had a couple of set backs, but is doing great now. He goes down and sits on Judy Blue Eyes, and even started the motor. Talk about a bummer, he finally gets the boat he has dreamed about, and was only able to enjoy it for about 6 weeks. We can hardly wait until next year! Thanks for all the good wishes....Judy and John

Best wishes and prayers to John for a rapid recovery. I am convinced that just sitting on a C-Dory lowers blood pressure, reduces cholesterol, and cures depression!

Hope everything works out well for you folks, that is a tough deal. Just a minor quibble - technically, we do not recognize a boating "season" here in the Pub...we are pretty much twelve month'ers - so if John feels up to in November, December, January, February or whenever - no need to wait for the start of boating season for the blue blazer and ascot crowd...
