We bought our boat used with a honda 135efi. No problems so far wth over 400 hours and is a sweet running engine.It's basically the honda accord motor so it should have long term reliabillity.I have a yamaha 40 on a 14 footer I like also.

Well, I have the new Honda efi 90 and get great gas milage and can get up and go faster when fully loaded than others with other brands or power a few years older.
Does this make me a hot rod? I don't know, but the boat can take more HP and right now this is the only legal way to get it.
