They discuss engine mount height and the anti-ventilation plate in relation to the water on the Permatrim site below.

I took a look at my engine while under way and saw some water running over the plate. Can you tell by looking at these pictures if the engine is set too low on the transom, or is there more involved?

With the C Dory I believe it is acceptable to have water over the top of the Permatrim--certain is for most other foils. My Tom Cat runs with no water over the Permatrims, once on a plane. _________________ Bob Austin
