Seahorse,
Thanks for posting this one. It is interesting to see how far we have come. I remember learning to ski behind an 18hp Evinrude on an open boat. I must have been all of about 70 pounds. When my dad upgraded to a Johnson 35, I thought we were flying!

Thanks--my first motors were Johnson's and a Sears Elgin, but I had a 13 foot YellowJacket cold molded boat and a 25 hp Evinrude. Then traded that for an almost new 35 HP Evinrude--and purchased a 15 foot ZinCraft (with a hole in it, which I patched--before glass). Had a number of smaller OMC and Evinrudes--and the largest was a 225 in the late 90's. Certainly Evinrude changed the face of boating! _________________ Bob Austin
