The following link is to a distance calculator that seems pretty interesting. It is set to a result of a sailor that is sailing his new Montgomery 17 sailboat from San Diego to South Africa. So far he is about 6000 statute miles into the journey. Quite a testament to both the skill of Willi the sailor, and to the Montgomery line of sailboats.

Just out of curiosity, how many CBrats have a Montgomery. I have M15, hull number 159. Sojornen is an '81 model, and looks almost new.

Monty owner here: M-15 #348 a 1989, Blue shear strip. Owned for 7 years, and still have it. Great times, might still keep it. Great boat!! :thup :thup

The nav script is in perl, and was written for Linux, though it should run on both the Mac and on Windoze.
