Not sure if I am doing it right, but spraying fogging oil in the air intake, tried several cans but can't get the engine to stall out? Is there a better way to do this? Thanks very much. _________________ DeanO |

I don't know what year your engine is but if it is fuel injected it won't die and you shouldn't fog, at least from what the guys on the Michigan pennisula told us when we left our boat in Mackinaw City. If it has a carb go for it. |

Did you disconnect the gas line? You should, then as it starts to sputter, fog it. Then remove spark plugs and fog inside the cyls and crank it over a little to distribute the oil. Then reinstall the plugs, hand tight.
Good luck. Make sure the fog oil is getting into the air intake.

I can understand that a fuel injected engine with it's computer would compensate with rpm and fuel/air mix adjustments to avoid stalling, but what about oiling up the internal parts for the long storage period?
Don't the Evinrude etech engines have a pre-storage mode that is programmed to set the engine up for storage?
