My drop curtains zipper was pulling out. This was a result of incorrectly installed snaps (too far apart). The canvas curtain was always tight, and as a result the zipper pulled out. Went down to King Marine this afternoon, he took care of it on the spot. First he double reinforced the zippers. Then reinstalled on boat he corrected the canvas side of the snaps, by removing three snaps, and putting new ones in farther apart. The snaps in the fiberglass needed no alteration.
A couple years ago, these same people modified my full boat cover to fit my new radar arch, by adding zippers.
