Very comfortable, anodized aluminum frame, well made, compact folding director's style chair. Sets up easily and folds into itself, so it's as thin as a briefcase. Its Fold Size: 27 in. x 19.75 in. x 4.25 in. makes it very easy to stow, only weighs 8 lbs. Regular internet price $60±, I purchased two for $79.94. The best part is, the below will with Standard UPS Shipping (50 States), for only $6.95. The only thing I did to the chairs was add some Home Depot white rubber feet. (See Little Toot's photos)

Henry,
What kind of rubber feet go on that kind of chair?

Henry,
Got it. Looked in your album and see the picture.

Man , you got some good ideas. The factory ought to either hire you or just pay you for ideas.

We also found some telescoping directors chairs we're happy with. Light, sturdy, comfortable, and easy to open and close, and very compact. They have a cup holder on one side and accessory pouches on both.

The PICO chair by GCI is not quite as affordable, but we bought ours at REI, so they have a lifetime guarantee. I just put a nested folder of pictures in our album. Vicki kindly demonstrates.

Not shown is the carrying bag, about the size of a messenger bag, with shoulder strap. When the chairs are open, the bag rests over the back and has built in magazine/towel storage. I'll grab a shot next time.

Cheers,

Bruce

Bruce/Vicky,

I really like your chairs, are they pretty comfortable? How much did they cost? They would work out great with our boat to tuck away inside a cabinet.

Hi Steve - yes, they're very comfortable. I've seen them for $119 on the web. We bought them at REI for $129, but REI warranties products they sell indefinitely.

The REI site has pictures which show the chair in the carrying case, and with the case over the back of the open chair.

What can I say, Sea Wolf? I "squandered" some money on some nice chairs.

No buyer's remorse here.

Cheers,

Bruce

A quick Google search shows that one can buy the PICO chair for $99.99 each and get free shipping from The Comfort Store. (http://www.sitincomfort.com/gcipiarmchpo.html). It seems they sell the blue chairs only.

From my motorcycle days....An outfit in Tennessee makes the best quality, easily stored chair I have ever used. I bought two for motorcycle touring over 20 years ago and another for my father-in-law to use at his grandkids soccer games.....super high quality hardwood, stainless, and aluminum construction...

I have tried any number of chairs over the years and Kermits is a keeper.

Buy the best and only cry once....
