Wasn't being careful the other day and tilted the motor with a
fender between the head and the splash well. Bent the throttle
cables pretty good. I was able to bend them by hand and they also
straightened some by themselves. However, shifting just isn't as smooth
as it was. I don't see any alternative but to replace the cables since
long term I'm afraid they will wear and cause a problem.
Thoughts? Is this a pretty easy job?

Not a hard job but time consuming. You will hate wire ties when you are done with the blood-letting . This is a good time to run any extra wires one mite need for future projects |
