You have it! One slide show coming up. (I spent most of the spring organizing a slide slow from the days at college 50 + years ago--800 slides, condensed into 25 minutes--but that was far more difficult, since one of the photos were in digital format....
We can probably throw in a little high def video in the slow also. |

OK I went to the beautiful Water Street Hotel today and blocked rooms for the Gathering . Please e mail me for info . I have 6 right now at $139.00 for Thurs. and $159.00 for Fri and Sat . If you bring a boat its one dollar a foot for slip . Regular rates are $159 and $179 plus $1.50 a foot for slips . It is a wonderful place . Of course we will have the docks ready at John's as well . Plus I have a couple slips in the city marina with power and water. First come first serve .

Friday and Saturday were pretty good ocean conditions, the kind I like to run for tuna, no tuna heard of within 85 miles of Newport , so went out for halibut at the chicken ranch one day and the rock pile the other, we limited out both days, but it took a while, nothing really big 34 was the biggest. I covered approx. 65 miles on 20 gallons of gas with my 06 e-tech 90, I was trying to figure out what range I would have for tuna with out carrying any extra gas, and if this was pretty good range for burning 20 gallons of fuel, this was in my 22ft c-dory, any comments, thanks |

I hope your going to bring some of that Tuna and halibut to the 10/17 - 10/19 - Gulf Coast Extravaganza. Marc really know how to cook that combination.. Stuffed with some shrimp and oysters... I can tast it now.

Marc,
Alan and I are planning to be there if we can. We plan on leaving the North Channel the end of this week making our way south. We look forward to meeting everyone and hope we will be finished with the loop and flying our gold flag. |
