JudyBlueEyes? Hey - I know these nice folks!

A big welcome to the crew of JudyBlueEyes! I met these fine people at the ramp in Cornet Bay last month. It just so happens they were sea trialing the former TyBoo22. They were pleased with the boat, and the last I heard, they were set on buying it. Guess what - they did!

So, now you not only have a fine C-Dory - you got this whole big wonderful group of C-Brat friends! Welcome, indeed, and don't be the least bit bashful. We'll talk you into all kinds of fun things right up there in the waters out your back door. The next one we will be able to make will be Sequim Bay in October, but there will be at least a couple get togethers before then close to you. You're going to love the folks who show up at these cruises!

Welcome aboard JudyBlueEyes. Do they have real names. Is one of them Judy?

One of them is for sure named Judy, and believe it or not she has blue eyes. I was so struck by the neat name they had chosen for the boat that I plum forgot the gentleman's name, as well as the name of their grown son who was admiring the fishing capabilities of the boat. But they are very nice people, and I'm sure the two guys will forgive me for not remembeing their names.

It was really neat to see how happy they were to be getting the boat. We just happened to get to Deception Pass in time to see them when they got back to the ramp after the test drive. I think Tim (Lynn Marie) alerted me to what was going on down there when he stopped by the marina to say good bye on his way toward home.

And, I can tell you from experience that the roller trailer is hard to hit dead center when powering the boat onto it, but Les did it just right the first try.
