#21 - You can fish with 20 other people at the same time, and nobody raises an eyebrow
#22 - On a good day, you might score 3 or 4 in a row
#23 - You can do it with your buddy, and not be from California
#24 - You can fish with your best friend's wife, and not get in trouble
#25 - When you're done, picking up some crabs is a GOOD thing...

---#6 - There are no Fishing-transmitted diseases---- wrong
I dare to differ with #6----
BEWARE
I have had a recurring case of the fishing pox for several years now. No known cure, can only be treated by getting out on the water and fishing. This is a highly contagious disease that can be transferred from person to person by being subjected to the sport. It is also contracted by the innocent person just trying the sport solo. _________________ Roger

Holy cats! Those are a lot of good reasons to fish.
In the interest of G-rated wholesomeness, may I forward this offering from Scottish author John Buchan (1875-1940). Said he:
"The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable; a perpetual series of occasions for hope."
Wait a minute. He was talking about fishing, no? |
