I believe Sea Skipper is one of the best-outfitted C-dory 25’s around. She runs and operates to perfection.

Sea Skipper is for sale for two reasons: First, I really miss sailing - I have fallen in love with a sailboat (actually two sailboats). And second, half my fun in boating is working on the boat. I especially like working on a good design and making it better. In the case of Sea Skipper I’ve reached the point of diminishing returns.

The boat was purchased new from E. Q. Marine and initially outfitted by Les Lampman and his crew.
Power: Honda 150 & Honda 15 Kicker
Electronic engine controls: 2 stations + hand held remote.
Log: 4,399 nautical miles - Engine hours: Main 380 (400 hour service completed) - Aux ~15

I started to work on a list of equipment, but think it would be easier to study the pictures in the Sea Skipper album to see how she is outfitted and her unique features.

Your solution to the open splash well is hands down one of the best thought out and build add on's I have seen on a c-dory. Can say how much I like it. This looks to be one of the best outfitted 25's I have seen.

Your boat is probably the most ingeniously modified and fully improved C-Dory I've ever seen!

Wonderful ideas and execution!

It will make someone a great buy and boat to keep for a lifetime!

Someone is going to get a truly amazing boat... better than new, thoughtfully designed on all the details. Hank was one of "the good guys" in the trimaran world when we both owned Corsair boats, and was gracious enough to share time and ideas with me when we were in the process of ordering and outfitting our boat.

Hank, I wish you good luck with your next project(s)... your presence, attention to detail, and creative solutions to our boats have been a real asset to everyone here. We will miss you, but will have the photos in Sea Skippers photo file as an amazing reference.

If I were in the market for a 25, I would jump on this boat in a heartbeat!

The center device is a 10" combination DVD player & TV

Electronics Mounted under the shelf
Port: AM/FM CD Player with Sirius Satellite and Aux input for DVD includes remote. Center: 10" DVD/TV Drop Down Screen w/infrared remote headphones. Screen can also rotate port or starboard as desired. Starboard: Raymarine VHF Marine Radio with DSC Connected to GPS

Speakers installed under the shelf in isolated partitions which also add rigidity to the top shelf - integral tweeters aimed aft. Above shelf: Clock & Barometer to port and Wind Speed & Direction to starboard. Selectable True or apparent speed & direction.

That would be me. I am so excited I don’t know what to say. Sea Skipper will be towed to Lopez this week and launched there for the first time on Sunday.

Hank put his heart and soul into Sea Skipper and his influence will live on with this boat. I will treat her well and will strive to be a worthy successor.

Good news, welcome to the San Juans C-Dory Gaggle. Be sure to consider coming to the Bellingham CBGT September 15,16,17. No reservations needed, always room for one more. Its a great way to meet folks, check out boats and have an all around good time. And, many Brats monitor 68 while in the San Juans so give a call and you never know who might be out afloat. As Pat said, the Gulf Islands group will be leaving from Bellingham on Sunday the 15th to head up to the G. Islands.
