Does anyone have a list of the fuses to fit the 22' Cruiser? I need to get some for backup and before crawling around in various locations thought some might have a handy list and even a diagram perhaps of where each one goes.
A wish, at least Laughing

Thanks, Anne

Anne, since you have a new boat, you should have gotten an owners manual with it. If you didn't, it's listed on the factory website HERE on the bottom left hand corner of the home page of this site. Fuses are listed in there, along with the wiring diagram. You can print it out if you don't have one. Not sure how current it is, but it's better than nothing.

As for your question on batteries, look at the factory site again at the 22 for standard equipment. They are probably installed by the dealer that sold you the boat since each one may vary depending on how many/which engines it has.

Good luck.

Charlie

The suggestion to look at the manual is helpful! Sometimes I wonder if the variety of information is current, but am going to guess that the fuse list is current.
My 08 Cruiser has the Coast Guard capacity plate, which helps with the required list. Also, I am thinking perhaps the gas containers hold more than previously, but I may be incorrect.

Anyhow, I need to look more often at the manual. Thanks!

I don't there there is a standard fuse list because each boat is rigged differently. The factory basic equipment would include the running lights but type and number of engines, electronics, heater, windlass, etc. all add fuse requirements. I think the best way to find out your specific setup would be to have the rigger give you a list. Didn't you have yours done at Master Marine in Mt. Vernon? If so the rigger should be able to write out a list for you. After getting the list made up you might want to locate each fuse and label each fuse holder/circuit breaker with the item protected and fuse amperage. There are a number of labeling options. I use a labelmaker with a white tape

Go to Wall Mart and get an assortment of appropiate fuses. I belive that the ATo/ATC fuses are the correct size, but double check--there may even be several sizes. I also carry a few mini fuses. Check the fuse block and the Wallas, (assuming that you have one). I also carry an assortment of the cylindrical glass SAE fuses on board--radios and radars will have these in line. They are cheap--and if you cannot use them, you will always find someone else who will. At the Dana Point Christmas Parade my son supplied several boats with fuses, and I have seemed to supply the demo boats fuses at the SE gathering each year... I have fuses from 3 amps to 30 amps--3 5 7.5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 amp sizes.
