Three kings, one silver. A couple released natives in the mix, too. The first king was Tiffany's. About 15# and very pretty. The second king (big and kinda ugly) and the silver (very nice - maybe 14#) were Curt's. Those all came in one pass by 27 in a few chaotic minutes. Tried another hour before I finally landed a small king. Not as pretty as Tiff's, but not too bad. By then the current was ripping pretty good, so we bagged it. We'll probably wait until about 8:00 to go out tomorrow.

Ken - I am going back down in a few to clean up the boat. I'll set your hose out in case I don't see you.

Tiffany says when she grows up she is getting a C-Dory with pink accent. Hot pink. So, Jeff and Scott, you guys at the factory have 7 years to perfect the gelcoat color.

Anyone fishing B-10 this Saturday or Sunday?
I am considering draging Sea Lion up there but would likely not be able to fish until Sunday morning. I am trying to justify bringing the boat. The wife is going to medicate and try to get on the water again! Yay!
She mentioned something about just cruising around if the fishing wasn't good. I doubt she would mind if we trolled while we crusied Wink .

Any tips on the area? I am usually on someones elses boat and heading outside when I am in the area.

Any help or response appreciated...

Lots of good info on ifish, things have been slow lately, hopefully they'll pick up this weekend. It's supposed to be a nice weekend for a boat ride if nothing else

The Lynn Marie did not cross the bar this morning but I did talk with the "Old Forester" a 22cruiser from down the road. Bob was out with two other fellows and they picked up a Chinook and 5 nice Coho north of the north jetty. All the radio talk said the river was way sloppy compared to the ocean even though there was still a good swell.

Fishing in the river was not near as good with us only picking up one raggy little silver. If you haven't sworn off bars the ocean may be your best bet, if not I'll see you in the river but not till mid morning. TyBoo Mike may have better info about the river and what to use since I saw him out in the middle of things too.

Tim

What, no company? That Warrenton C-Dory section of the dock is starting to feel like a Maytag repair shop, real lonely. Of course if I could fish like a Maytag that would help.

From what I hear, there was plenty of company. The Warrenton police were directing traffic this morning, and at one point there was a three hour wait for the ramp. Pretty safe bet that Hammond was the same.

Hah!! Nuttin', zip, zero.

That's exactly what we had today and that's not just fish, that includes how many bites we had. And we were not along either. Work is looking good.

I don't trust 'em. I don't trust 'em at all.

How come Raven Dave has been so quiet this year? I know why his boat is so quiet - he just got a new four stroke Johnson hung on the back of it. Seen him out fishing a few times, and seen some mighty nice fish in his box, but ain't heard from him on here. Maybe his computer is busted, or something.

Laughing I want to thank Ken for takeing me out on BLUE~C this morning and teaching me how to fish the ocean for Kings. We had wonderful day and caught some nice fish. Had to release a lot of natives but still had some to take home. The ocean was calm and the weather outstanding. What a trip to put in the memory bank.
