I am trying to find the tow weight of a typically loaded CD22 and trailer. I have searched through the forums and I have seen everything from 3500 lbs to 4900 lbs. Assuming a dual axle trailer, what is realistic? Thanks! _________________ Dave |

Sounds to me like you have it nailed, depending on how much fuel, water, and gear you carry aboard. I don't know that anyone could really tell you a "typical" weight. The scale weight of mine when I first got it was 3840 lbs with partial fuel, no water, and a reasonable amount of gear. Loaded for a trip with a lot of cruising gear, food, and water, I'm sure it would go close to 4500 lbs. _________________ Ken Trease

I weighed mine with full tanks, both gas and water plus normal goodies on a tandem trailer with spare. 4550 lbs. _________________ Mary & Don Anderson
