What thickness of starboard are most people using to mount their transducers on?

Mark,

It's about .5 inch thick. If you want, I will measure exactly for you.

A lot of places sell the 1/2 thicknesses but not alot of places sell 3/4 in white. When I saw the thickness of the starboard for Frequent Sea's transducer mount it looked more like 3/4 or 1 inch.

i don't think there's any reason you couldn't double up on the 1/2" with either contact cement or one of the 3M's, especially if your fastening the transducer with say 7/8 screws if you can't readily find thicker stock. recut them both together with a miter saw to get a nice square single piece.

Starboard does not glue well (there is a specific bonding agent). I had scraps of 3/4" Starboard which I have used on all of my transducer mounts.--1/2" seems a bit thin to me.
