Does anybody have any experience with the Nobeltec IR-2 radar?

Like all new radars, all signal processing is done in the radar head/sensor, and no RF signals go to the display. However Nobeltec uses a PC as the display. Since we all own a PC (or we wouldn't be reading this,) and the screen is usually >12", this seems to be a great idea. I would like to hear from someone who has one or has seen one operate.

Is anybody using Nobeltec Admiral or Visual Navigation Suite? One of these programs is needed for displaying the radar on the PC. The radar and software appear to be the same price as a 7" radar/plotter.

Jeppson owns Nobeltec.

Any comment?
