Has anyone ever had trouble with the screw locking mechanism on the center opening window? I seem to be unable to tighten the screw to lock the window open.

Everyone with the opening center window has had the problem and there are a few fixes out there in the albums and archives. My cure is under Minnie Swann album on the C-Dog site. Basically I took the strut assembly off and drilled a hole in the hollow shaft just behind where the solid shaft is on full open. I then insert a small clevis pin to hold it open. This pin clips nicely on the frame side strut mount when not in use and is easy to find. You could put several in to accomidate different opening stops. One thing I intend to do after living with it for a year is to make the exit hole for the pin a size larger so I don't have to "fish around" for it. I read that the factory has a new system now and you could upgrade but my deal only cost a few cents. later Gary _________________ Gary & Gerrie former Minnie Swann owners
