Mike has written several books on the Channel Islands and is probably the most knowledgeable about this waterway around...

I also signed up for an offshore sailing class aboard 30' sailboats....what a fun way to sail ......Tues. afternoons.... 6 students max... $159... I did this years ago and by the third week we only had 4 students and the instructor was lots of fun..... good sailing....big boats...and best part...it was not mine and I didn't have to clean or do anything except go and play....

Joel,
Sounds like fun. I will see if I could get Mondays off in Feb. Is there a cut off date for signing up? Got a link or contact number? Thanks,

Sounds like fun---- but I'm already taking classes two nights a week at Ventura CC.
Since California has finally decided to join the rest of the country using the ICC codes "International Building Code" and I need some CEU's in order to maintain my certifications--- I'm booked Tuesday and Thursday nights until mid May. _________________ Roger

The College has an on-line catalog and registration at www.CommunityEd.VenturaCollege.edu and you can do everything online, or you can call Community Education at 805-654-6459.....
I enjoy going to Snappers too..... good grub... my Monday class is at the college....my Tuesday class is at the Ventura Marina... in the water... hopefully we will have some good sailing days...
