Marc:

Those are some big reds! This was also a good red-fishing year for us down in Galveston Bay.

I enjoyed reading your blog, too...Thanks.

Nice fish Marc and a really nice write up. Really nice color to those fish. This has been a good year for the reds in NE Florida also.

So, Marc...from your blog, it sounds like it was all catch and release? How about a little catch and fillet? Laughing Those puppies make good eating?

Pat , In Florida its a slot limit of 18"-27" and one fish per angler per day .The smallish fish we measured was 28". However , in Alabama you are allowed one oversize per day . We ended up with two in the Bradley Smoker to share amongst the families . It was perfect . Yes they are good eatng , the slot size fish are the best but none of them are bad......

Well, in a few years we definitely need to get out your way! We have great cruising here from Puget Sound all the way to Alaska, but there is so much more to see!
