I have a twin Hondas on my 06 cruiser. The steering mechanism blocks two zerk fittings on the starboard engine tilt shaft. Anybody have a way around taking the steering a part to grease these?

Your local auto parts store will have a 90deg. adapter that should fit under the steering link.
Merry Christmas Mr. Green Beer

Ditto, that's what I did with my twin Johnsons. Smile

I did the 90 degr. fitting thing also. I had to loosen one end of the hydr. cyl. to get the new fittings started.

The adapter I was refering to snaps into the end of the grease gun hose and slides over the zerk @ 90deg, about 3/8 diam., replacing the fitting with a 90zerk is a good option too Mr. Green Beer
