pin holes in fiber glass well the gel coat maybe blisters? Read about them but the boat does not sit in water as a matter of fact boat been the in the water 5 time since 1987 and ''never again" saw water, ANYONE???

fishalot...

one thing you might check out is the thread on "artillary fungus". Do you store the boat around wood chips?

I don't think one could easily get blistering on the motorwell area since it is not normally submerged.

the artillary fungus actually shoots tiny dots of organic stain/solvent onto the light areas around it, leaving tiny pits in the gelcoat.

I agree with the above--it is very unlikely that what you are seeing are blisters. Blistering could occur in a well, if water sat in the well and didn't drain. There is a bit of a different dynamic--but with boats in freezing weather, you can also have some gelcoat damage, if there is small area of water intrusion, and then the freeze/thaw cycle expands these defects.

WOW I THINK YOU RIGHT, HOLLY SMOKES! IT LOOKS LIKE THE PICTURE AND THAT SIDE HAS CUT PINE CHIPS AND SOME LOGS.. WOW I WILL TAKE IT TO A PROFESSIONAL AND FIND OUT, BUT THANKS FOR THE INFO.. WOW THIS SITE IS GREAT!!!!
