Greetings, Tyboo
I received this reply to a thread I started several days ago:
Hey there, I live just across the river from you. Sportcraft Marine in Oregon City has recieved some good reviews. Other than buying our boat there, I haven't done any business with them. They have sold and rigged a bunch of C-Dorys and are pretty good folks....There's also Tyboo Mike's Marine Industries but I think they're busy at TMMI, besides, it's more of a think tank, prototype producing outfit.
I'll look for you on the river.
Is there such a thing as TMMI and do you fabricate cool custom stuff relating to C-Dorys in exchange for coin of the realm? If so, please drop me a line; I might be interested in having you lighten my wallet on a fabrication I have in mind for the cockpit. Or maybe you build ocean going tugs, barges, supertankers, fast frigates and such. Unfortunately I cannot afford one this year...

Holy cats! That's the problem when a guy's that good at mechanical/electrical/hydrolical/psychological stuff. Everybody wants a piece of his smarts.
Now me and Pat, we're plenty safe, I should think. |

Here's a hint: B~C stands for Buncha~Crap.
I came up with one stupid thing to hang on the cabin door to hold fishing stuff, and B~C thinks I own Bayliner Corp. or something. I did own a Bayliner for a short while, but I don't know that much about boats. I'm just a plain old paper mill mechanic.
There are a bunch of true craftsmen who frequent this pub, however, and if you tell 'em what your idea is, you will get plenty of help and advice. As for the thing to hold fishing stuff on the cabin door - my wife actually made it.
I ain't a nerd, either, but if you want to show off some pictures of your boat, I can make you a C-Trial photo album in short order. Unless the real nerd beats me to it.
Have fun. _________________ TyBoo Mike

Cute Mike but I don't agree with you about either subject. Blue~C wouldn't tell anything but the truth and I have some of your fine crafted items on Scorpio. Glad to see you posting again. Missed all the good stuff you put into this board. _________________

Meet me over on the Bayliners Users Group (BUG) bulletin board and we'll discuss things. It's really just hunk dory if you like teak gewgaws.
On the other hand, I've seen your postings and you've got master inventor written all over you.

You've got that right B~C! If it weren't for Mike, Carol wouldn't have a "Barber Chair" to sit on in the new SSSS! (Because of Mike's Barber Chair invention, Les has more work to do when he's outfitting these new C-Dorys). _________________ Dave S.
