Found a solution to cruising those lakes C-Dory style that do not allow internal combustion engines. Introducing Chivita's little brother! Hull speed is only 8 knots with a ten horse golf cart battery powered motor, but it gets the job done. Since this is the kid's boat, they want to know if there is a Junior C-Brat club?

Wow Les! You REALLY know boats! It is indeed a CANDU-EZ and comes from your neck of the woods, Cain Lake to be exact. The gentleman who built it did a superb job, even named it well -"Big Dave", HA! It is a great deal of fun and gets more smiles per mile than any boat we've had, just towing it down the road we get thumbs up. Can't compete with a C-dory in the "Seaworthy" catagory, but for putting around our local lakes co-captained by two young men, it's a real winner. Only drawback is the difficulty in finding large ships to tow out to sea at those lakes, but the kids are keeping their eyes and ears open for the offhand chance someone needs assistance!
