Has anybody , installer any kind of suspension seat on their CD . I have a older 22' !1981)and the pounding at times would be reduced with suspension seating , or any suggestions would be appreciated,

While I haven't purchased one, I have sat in seats that had these.
They were very comfortable and worked very well. On the CD though you would need to remove the box under the seat in order to use something like this as the end result is designed to be run from the "floor". _________________ Gary Johnson

Rick,
While there are alot of true marine seats with dampening, you can get inexpensive ones designed for small tractors at Orsclein's or some times Tractor Suppy, or Agro Supply.
