The fuel lines starting leaking on my 90 honda the other day. The bad thing is the carbs have to come off to get at connections. I spoke with the shop and they state the hoses need to be honda fuel line and had to order the lines. What is the difference between honda fuel line and any other of same size? Has anybody else had this problem? $10 dollar fuel line resulting in a couple hundred dollar repair. |

This is on an 04' motor? What the heck happened? Are the lines cracking or something? _________________ -----------------

not cracked. leaking where the line goes into carbs. problem is you cant get to them without taking carbs off. Maybe the zip ties went bad with the heat. Clamps would have solved this problem. the engineer who designed the fuel system could have also put the intake lines on the outside. |
