Hi Brats,

I just checked my email and found a PM notification message that said that I received a PM at 8:57 this evening.

I clicked on the link and found no message and the header indicates that I have no new messages. I hit the refresh button and nada.

Any ideas?

Nick

I wonder if a person sends a PM, then changes their mind if they can rescind it, leaving a "reminder" but no PM? Maybe one of the moderators/admins can chime in and solve the mystery Smile

Hey there.. well, you know that when you send a PM, it goes into an "out basket" thing and does not go into the "sent" file until the recipient logs in and reads it. Maybe a person can cancel or delete the message while it is in that out basket file thing?

Thanks for the ideas.

I don't know what the cause is, but it just happened again a few minutes ago.

You might have something there!

When we sold our sailboat, Spirit, and bought our C-Dory, some of my sailing friends accused me of going over to the "Dark Side". Maybe it's starting to manifest itself.

Ummm...that would have been me. I was going to ask if your boat
was a high top, but after looking at pics, it appeared as though it
was...so I pulled the PM.

Oh, and please don't think of me as someone from the "Dark Side".

Well, in a sense, I have a dark side, since I don't run with a spotlight at
night (tying some threads together, here), but other than that...

Dear Mystery Mike of the Dark Side,

Thanks for coming clean and Valkyrie is a high top! I wouldn't have it any other way.

I specified that on the order because of my height, but other CD owners (considerably shorter than I) who have been on board say that they like the roomier feeling.

Marcia and I will definitely be at the East Coast Gathering next year and I look forward to finally meeting you. Will you be the guy in the Darth Vader mask?

Regards,

Nick
