So -- is there going to be a C-Brats gathering? Is the factory going to have a party?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Well ya, that's one of the high-lights of my year. Just try and keep us away. Really, it's a great way to break-up the winter blues, and visit with friends, some we haven't met yet. _________________ Terry, Ann & Chloe

Warren,
Roger (SENSEI) is the guy to ask about the SBS-CBGT. He runs that gathering.
You might try sending him a Private Message. _________________ Larry H

OK GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it is only June whats the rush??????????????????
All I got to say at this time is ,the last time I was in contact with the factory they were still planning on some sort of open house. I will definatly be in touch with them soon.
Regardless of the Factory Plans I feel that we should still have a gathering and so I will be working with the Hawthorn to nail down a price and be posting here soon. I was thinking more along the lines of about September.......lol....... _________________ Roger on the "SENSEI"

I agree with Roger... It is June and it is time to get the planning/reservations started. I have made this event for many years now and it truly is one great opportunity to see, meet, and socialize with my fellow C-Brats!!!
I think those of us who did the Seattle Lock and Dam Cruise by Argosy had a blast and would love to do that again too.
Not sure, but I may have a local commitment during this years show, so, like Roger said.... we may need to make a practice party prior to Jan08. I more than likely will be up in the area around end of July and again about a month later.... Practice makes perfect you know. I will have to agree with others about the change in atmosphere at the show now days...and I think I would love this trip without even going to the show. I feel sure the factory would do something simply because they can, and it is a great way for folks to see the factory and meet many of the new faces. Even if the factory does not have an open house... THE BRATS can and will gather about our Country and continue having great times together.
Who knows.... I may just need to put together some type of Brat Gathering in/around Nashville during the Dec/Jan/Feb time frame. Southwest has great flight prices into Nashville, and our family has worked with and continues to keep close business ties with some of the local Opryland area hotels. We could for sure have a blast!

I had a great time and while I did think the Hawthorn was a nice place, they left me stranded the morning of my flight out. Then acted like I was totally unreasonable to depend on them helping me after they previously committed to get me to the airport. I believe you actually helped me out of that mess Roger. While I plan to attend again and will definitely want to stay in the same place as the other brats I thought the dock area had a lot of choices for activity, food, drink and coffee anytime of day. Because I'm just along for the ride what my Grandmother would say apply's "beggars can't be choosey". I'll be happy anywhere. The best food and drink of all was the night of our gathering !! I was in Salmon eating heaven ! If Pat Byrd can't make it I'll need someone to adopt me to hang out with.
Here's one to our great host |

Here Here to the host!
It is truly a great time. I could make it and never leave the hotel area. So many folks, so many laughs, so much fun. I will do everything possible to make the trip again. It is simply a great part of my life just haning out with the brats.
I was with/around Jeff when the hotel shuttle gig went down. It should not have happened. He simply asked for the service Hawthorne said they provided, and if he had not been checking the afternoon prior to the morning out, we would have had zero idea that the issue existed. Good to check ahead for sure.
Not to add one more task to Roger and those helping him again this year ( and hopefully that will again include me)....but it may also make it easier for those of us with flights out to leave the flight times with the desk as we check in. We as a group need to do our part as best we can to ensure they know our needs, allowing them to keep their labor cost down, and our room charges down.
Each year, the number of rooms is larger and the fun increases too. Great meeting folks and putting faces with boat names and site names.
Jeff...I will see if I can get the Burger King to get stocked up on SSSSTTTTTIIIIIIIICCCCKKKKKEEEEERRRRRSS too. |

Inquiring minds need to know, so would those who like to plan ahead (for some things, Like if they are important,) and this IS. We thought the Hawthorne was great, enjoyed the factory gig, and since we drove in and away, could have helped Jim, or anyone, with a lift out to SeaTac on our way west. Thanks to those who worked so hard to make it such a great weekend.
Harvey
