A long time ago i posted a problem with my wallas...just cut out on me..
Well, the dunce seemed to find the problem...i replaced the fuse down there in the maze of the wallas guts...the manual says one number and the one i took out is a "2"....which is the right one?

If you are talking about the fuse that plugs into the green mother board, it is a two amp fuse. I talked to Mike with Scan Marine about it a little while ago and he said anything up to a 10 amp fuse would be just fine. Mine has a extra fuse hanging off a wire in the back of the stove.
My stove seems to be smoking at random, I have been trying to figure that out for the last three weeks with Scan Marine's help, I might have got it to quit, as the last two times I have used it no smoke !
Good luck with your stove.
Big Dave.

Every time I start my stove I get a smell of kerosene or exhaust. it is mostly in the cabinet under the sink and seems to go away after the stove is on awhile.
I am wondering if the exhaust hose is leaking at startup? Any ideas?
Thanks,
Steve |

Big Dave sez-
"My stove seems to be smoking at random...."
Put it on a schedule, build in a reduction/cessation taper, and buy it some Nicorette Patches.
Then you can always stick them on your forehead when the stove goes on the blink rather than shoot yourself with Joel's End-It-All Wallas Gun. (Remember?)

Wow the knowledge on this site is so great ! Why didn't I think of the patch ! Or just send it to the cockpit !
I did try humiliation by changing its name from "Wally" to "Old Smoky" and so far that seems to be working.
But I sure do appreciate all the great advise !
Big Dave.

Dave-
Actually, I don't have a Wallas myself, just enjoy making fun of those with one!
And I went ahead and tried the Nicorette patch idea, thinking that i t might be a universal solution to perplexing situations, maybe even all the problems of mankind!
Boy do I got a BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ on!
Next week............I'll try .....................smoking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you suppose we could combine one of the above with the vodka water tank solution and the Whack-a-Mole Glass?
Damn! I'm a genius! Whoda' ever thought of that?
