On one of my trips to the butt mall today, I came across a very comprehensive marine Electrical Checklist.(www.islandnet.com/rob/marine.html)
For someone as knowledge starved as my self in this field, it seemed like some good basic information. I'm sure some of you have all this committed to memory but the rest of you may find it useful.

Mike,

The electrical checklist is a great idea for those of us who are technically challenged, but I couldn't get the link to work.

I am getting ready to pull the electronics out of storage in my sock drawer and reinstall them on Day_Dreamer. Is it a good idea to coat the prongs on the connectors with a solvent or electrical grease, clean them with a brush, etc, to remove the corrosion on them? Is there a way to keep them clean during the season?

Jim

Here's your LINK TO THE MARINE ELECTRICAL CHECKLIST.

Looks like a great source upon cursory examination!

Thanks!

Joe.
