Steak and shrimp on Friday night and burgers on Saturday night sounds good to us.

So there are showers at Bledsoe, but not at Defeated Creek?

On Saturday, will we hang around at the marina long enough in the morning to cook breakfast? Do you stop for lunch or eat on the run? It does not matter to us, we are just trying to plan what kind of food to bring.

Hey Rob and Karen. We will be at Bledsoe Creek Camp Ground and State Park Friday night...after having just left the Lone Branch area (my Mothers house area...with showers). Some options... C-Pearl will be traveling with us. Jeff and Cathy love their phone booth on board shower and head...and they enjoy an occaional Blue Goose ("feathers") for a sundowner... I feel sure if in the 4-6 hours from departing a home a shower is needed... something could be worked out.. Mr. Green

Hug C-Pearl & feathers with phone booth on board shower Hug

Hug Life of Riley & showers Hug Smile NOTE TO SELF: pack small bottle of feathers for shower!!

Hug C-Brats and River Travel Hug

We will get you taken care of somehow...and the water temps should be up in the 70s by then too!! Thumbs Up

Patrick,

We will be ok regardless. We bought a sun shower to try in the cockpit if needed. We were just wondering what to expect in terms of facilities and meals (either to purchase or to cook). Gotta be prepared....

Oh My What a Breakfast!!! I was not aware of that. Guess I should have read more into the words...."State Park." About 17-18 miles up river from Mom's dock... Hummmm I can see some early moring river trips in our future now that I am as close as Clarksville!!

Have heard real good reports from the folks who have used the solar showers. For sure nothing like a good shower towards the end of the day particuarly later in the year when the heat and humidity get on up there.

I am truly getting excited about this trip..

Happy Easter All... and only about a dozen days away!!!

PATRICK BYRD "BYRDMAN"
this past weekend linda and i readied our "misty seas" for the upcoming cruise. only thing left to do is purchase the store items and we're good to go.
well, that is until yesterday afternoon. our office consist of four full time and one part time people. linda and i represent two of the four full time.
one of our csr's, who has been employed with us for the past three years has decided to change her occupation from receptionist/customer service representative, (full time) to, i couldn't make this up, a hooters' waitress. last day is next friday the 20th.
you can't imagine how disappointed we are with this news.
i'm placing an advertisement for position available, today in our local news paper.
patrick, if you have paid a deposit, in our behalf, for dockage, please let me know what that amount is and i will forward that to you. if there are any other charges, just let me know that amount as well.
sorry for any inconvenience this situation may have caused.
best regards
pat

Hi Mike,

Lunch on the run will be fine with us. Yes, our daughter will definitely be with us. If our boat was a little bigger I would bring our two dogs as well...maybe another time.

We are really looking forward to it. We have a couple different lists of necessities going and will be busy getting ready.

Misty Seas/Pat: Bummer Man!! But...it has been a few days and maybe the ads have replaced the Hooter Lady. I really gotta come up your way now. I'd offer to help you out myself, but those tight orange shorts just don't get it done on me. Guess that is why they always made me wear camo BDUs.

Sorry to hear you can not make it...but keep your fingers crossed... There is still time. No issue on the reservations/fees for the Nashville Dock.
