Has anyone tried or does anyone have any suggestions pertaining to condensation in the boat while at anchor overnight. The interior of the fiberglass in the v-berth will be literally dripping with condensation and is pretty lame. I was thinking of installing a 1 way exhaust fan in the hatch http://www.marinco.com/scpt/ProdPage.php?loadItem=N20354S_Nicro%20Recreational . I have heard some folks put insulation up front on the fiberglass. Any suggestions of what type and if it makes a difference? I assume the condensation is a combination of warm, moist breath contacting the cold surfaces of the interior of the boat.

Thanks.

C-Dude,

This is a topic that has been discussed a lot. Some great information can be found simply by doing a search on the site - hit the button above that says "Search" and enter the word "condensation". A lot of relevant posts will come up. One of the more useful threads appears to be this one about BC's "pain free" insulation solution.

Get some of the "back packing" foam pads at Wal Mart. They are good insullation and glue them against the sides and top if necessary. Liquid nails works fine. You can put a perforated vinly headliner over that if you wish.
