Hope I've found the right place on the web site for silly questions. New to C-Dory's. Bought mine late last summer from Vancouver, BC and boy is she pretty, shes named "Shrek" (22' cruiser) Question. I know the boats ride bow high but should a third of her length be out of water? (a friend was in the dingy taking pictures) Thanks, Jim |

Jim,
We met the former owners of Shrek last summer. Nice folks and the boat's a beauty, in fact a twin of our green 2005 CD. As for the bow riding high, I know there are others on the forum who can explain why C-Dory's bows ride so high. Most people usually add either trim tabs and/or a hydrofoil (we have a Permatrim) to help trim the bow down. I don't remember if Shrek had either of those options. There a lots of posts regarding this.
Hope this helps.
