An inspiration?? Now you're laying it on too thick. Thanks again for the kind words. This place has been a part of my daily life for a lot of years - I may not have much C-Dory content to share, but I'll still be around some.
Who knows - I've seen more than one C-Brat sell their boat and then come back into the fold. Those 16s are mighty cute (that's what Marty tells me).
Best wishes,
Jim |

Trying to explain the joy of a 16 to a 25 owner is like trying to explain the joy of a Honda scooter to a Harley, or Kawasaki, guy. Sometimes it's best just to smile. No matter what you do or where you go, with Joan beside you it will continue to be a wonderful journey. _________________ MartyP

Of course since Jim and Joan have already made the transition from larger bikes to scooters, the transition from a 25 to a 16 is clearly the next logical step. _________________ Roger on Meant to be |

I've owned quite a few Harleys over the years, Marty... and I'm having a ball with this Honda scooter. Feel free to explain... I'm an understanding kinda guy. |

OK, well you and Joan are welcome anytime to come over here and take Lizzie out on Lake Washington for as long as you want. It would be our pleasure. |

Nice offer, Marty... then I'd have to have one, for sure. Thanks! Ummm... is there a deadline on this offer?
Best wishes,
Jim |

WOW, a couple of road trips, and a few weeks without checking in on the C-Brats and I come home to find the Wild Blue Adventures II thread and Tim and Mary are introducing themselves.
Well it seems you have started them in on the right path and they sound like they will be treating WB with care.
And to you two (three) now, the adventure takes a turn down another branch to a new view with more sunrises and sunsets from a different angle. I sure hope we will still get to follow along occasionally. I have enjoyed the posts, the pictures and the blog and though I'm not here all the time, It is nice that you stop by and lighten our days.
Thanks for all your efforts to share the wonders of your world with us. Your words and pictures have been an inspiration, and being here will continue in that vein for more new Brats.
Thanks Jim and Joan and Izzy for the inspiration, and blessings as you travel the new path.
Harvey

And just a blink and Marty is talking Jim into a 16, which might be a good idea.
Jim, I here you can almost pull a 16 with a pair of those scooters.

I saw Wild Blue in a driveway in Skyline (Anacortes - west) yesterday. Maybe new owners? _________________

We sold it to Tim, who was a good caretaker of the boat, but found he wasn't using it as much as he'd hoped. He and I visited when he decided to put it up for sale... certainly not like he needed any OK from me, but I did let him know that any prospective buyer could contact me with any questions about the boat.
I know Tim sold the boat, but didn't know where the buyer was from. The Pacific Northwest is still our favorite cruising area, and the 25 is a great boat, up to the task.
Wild Blue was made to cruise. I hope the new owner(s) have plenty of great adventures with her. (It was fun for us to look back through this thread.)
Happy Thanksgiving to the C-Brat family!

You have to be close to the Texas Tip to buy from Jim and Joan, when they are ready for a change, it is like a Padre Island lightning bolt - ZAP. Just kidding, if you follow their blog you will see what great care all their "toys" get (to say nothing of Cat Care). Glad that Jim is on the full mend from his operation, there are toys not being used and Spring is not far off!!!

PS: Not sure if 102 pages of postings is a record on our C-BRATS site but it must be close. Hope I live to see Page #500! BJ |
