Hey - another C-Dory poll.

How many?

If you own/owned 1/2 of a boat, round up.

I've only owned one C-Dory, my '87 Cruiser, which will probably be with me to the end, while other boats may come and go. Joe.

I started with a 22, now have a 25. But I am looking for a 16. I need something to get me back and forth from the island to the future big boat.

We have purchased two C-Dorys. The first one was a 1985 22 Angler which we sold in 2002. The second one is our precious 2003 19 Angler.

I've had 4 of the critters. An '85 Angler, '91 Cruiser, 2004 Cruiser, and in the middle somewhere a C-Dory 16' Yukon rowing skiff. Needless to say, the latter has joined the ranks of retired models.

C'mon Dusty, lets get real, take your shoes off, so you'll have enough digits and give us a count.

Let's get a pool going... Laughing

I'm going with eight. Nine if we count the Orca.

Hi Blueback,

The 22 was built like a brick, almost indestructible but would not fit in our garage, nor was it compatible with the curve in our driveway. We sold it and made a handsome profit. Then we found out that the C-Dory factory had come out with a 19. When we saw it at the 2003 boat show, it was love at first sight. Yes, the cabin is a bit smaller than the 22 Angler but it's big enough for us.

We stay onboard for 3-4 days at a time. The V-berth is the same size on both the 22 & the 19. We have a propane heater (same as C-Voyager). We cook on a one burner Coleman stove. We've been in rough seas (what I refer to as the trip from HE!! or like being the loose shoe in a washing machine) and the 19 came through it all like a champ. We missed having the bulkhead that we had on the 22 so Joe built one for the 19.

I really REALLY like that new C-Ranger 25. I even have the color picked out. I'd just love to be able to add THAT boat to the poll but buying it means either moving or moorage. So for now we will remain in the poll as having been the owners of two C-Dorys.

Ruth (and Joe, too)

Just one. But hey, I've only ever had one wife too. I do have to admit that I'm thinking of trading up to a bigger model.

On the BOAT - not the wife! Her, I'm keeping - who else would have me?

Using Roger's formula, I've had 0.5 C-Dorys per wife.

Sure took some research!! 8 total. Could be nine, but I ran out of memory, and not a bad one in the bunch. The '89 will be fishing in the Roche Harbor salmon derby next weekend -just the kids, dangit. That should be a fun trip.
