My Christmas present arrived today...a few days late but a bundle of joy all the same. His name is Dabber Doo and Daisy Mae took right to him. She is such a hussey!
He will be piped aboard tomarrow as our new deckhand and sea trials will begin as soon as the tide will permit.
Happy New Year to all you old sea dogs out there and I look foward to meeting a lot of you at the SBS at the end of the month.

Steve McQueen played Papillon in the 1973 movie titled Papillon. If you haven’t seen it, rent the DVD and watch it. Good movie.

Dave,
Mike explained the Steve McQueen reference to me in a PM and as I told him, my one brain cell was recharging at that moment and it just didn't process. I have seen the movie, and yes it is a very good one.
