Not sure how I became a member of BoatTest.com, but apparently I did because I have been getting email from them on a regular basis. I hardly ever look at it. I just delete it but for some reason I opened the last one.
They tested the CD-25 and TC-255. Both test were quite extensive including videos. Jeff Messmer is in the Tom Cat video.
The above links will take you to the results of each test. You will have to register to view them. It is free to register, but you will start receiving email about their test of the various boats.

Thanks Dave,
I cannot speak for the C Dory 25, but the TC 255 goesn't quite get that good fuel consumption when loaded. But this is typical of their tests. The boats are light, so the fuel consumption is a little better than most of use get. The test mentions 130 gallon fuel tanks (earlier versions) but the article mentions the actual 150 gallon (later models). Nice reveiws. _________________ Bob Austin

Yeah, ditto the CD25...we were of course really loaded down on the Alaska cruise, three people, gear, food, generator, extra water, dinghy, etc. - and that quoted 4 mpg at 15 mph drops to about 2.5 mpg. I think I had seen the CD25 test video before, but not the TC255 video.
