Hello all,

We would like to thank all you CD fanatics who have over the years posted your abundant knowledge to this forum. It was your enthusiasm and wisdom about the C-Dory line of boats that helped convince us that a CD22 cruiser was the right boat for us.

The deposit check went in today to Y-Landing in NH. Now all we have to do is wait for the boat to be manufactured and delivered in April or early May. It will be a long winter, but one filled with dreams of cruising Cape Cod waters in comfort.

A joyous holiday season and a healthy and prosperous new year to all.

Welcome aboard, and wise choice. Good boat, good dealer. Heck if next year is like this one you will still be boating at Christmas! Many lovely waters to choose from. Take a few days when you pick up your boat to explore Y's home waters! Do you have a boat now? Have a bunch of stuff off of prior boat, or outfitting from scratch? There are nice folks on this board, and some wonderful stuff including stuff that is in older threads. Well worth reviewing over the winter. When you get a name and some pictures Bill or Mike will set up an album for you.

Happy Holidays back at ya and congratulations on the new boat, Jim and Anne! We've done that wait, and it gives you time to plan and gather the goodies. Christmas and the next couple birthdays will definitely have a "theme" to them! Wink

Questions are sure to come up before the boat arrives and this is the place to get them answered. The good folks here were (and continue to be) helpful and thoughful through our waiting process.

Merry Christmass and happy boat owner ship. Waiting for a boat during the holidays has its up side. Lots of sales both before and after the hoilday on boat jewelry. boat shows just after the new year and , in your neck of the woods, your not losing any boating time while the ice is on the water.
