Pete-

I don't know if it's one of us C-Brats, but I remember seeing this ad or boat before.

It's a custom C-Dory design, probably from Marben Marine or C-Dory, Inc., that was built to serve as a ferry boat to take passengers and camping gear out to a resort on one of the great lakes, probably Lake Michigan.

Sure is a pretty boat with a lot of custom work!

Also one LONG DUDE!!!

Curiously interesting, but so specialized most folks would have a hard time fitting it to their needs.

Thanks for the link!

Joe.

Hi

It was not built by the original Marben or C-Dory inc. We never built a boat made of wood or a boat of that size or configuaration.

Mark-

Thanks for the correction!

I was just repeating what was claimed in the listing when it was first noticed a year or so ago.

Now the mystery deepens, if anyone's interested.

Joe.

36 foot long stitch and glue wood semi dory hull. It looks more like a take off on of the the Glen L plans than anything else. Certainly not a C Dory by any "Stretch" of the imagination....

Someone did a nice job. But doesn't look real practical except as a ferry....

It looks like the same photos and shop from when the add appeared about a year ago. Don't remember if the price is the same.
