Aw, come on Chris - don't let us down.

You know you want it. Your restoration of Scout was most impressive, but three-foot-itis must be kicking in by now. Mr. Green

Those pics are too good/bad not to save...I tossed them into an album.

Isn't this the C-Dory that got squished under the roof of the owner's covered slip during a recent Hurricane off the Virginia shore? I seem to remember a story about an owner who raised his boat on slings as far out of the water as possible only to find that the water rose further, smashing his boat against the roof or sling apparatus.

I find it somewhat humorous that they list the length as 'approximate'...

Man...

Could be the lift boat wreck. Man that thing is hosed! I find it humorous that someone is selling it. Looks like it went through a blender. Even I would shy away from a rig that beat up. Hate to see a C-Dory go to waist.

I found Gary Polsgrove's profile here (he was the one with the story posted) and his HIN doesn't match the one shown in the salvage files. Whoa, maybe there were two 25's crushed in that storm. Bad statistics...

I suspect the HIN number in the photo is incorrect. My number is ...143D606 and this one is ...159B606. Mine was built in April; according to the latter number a higher production number (159) was built two months earlier in Feb. Is this possible? Would the factory assign production number out of sync with production dates? Just curious.

I was told by that factory assigns numbers according to order by dealers.
I don't know if this is true or not. I had questioned an apparently out of sequence boat.

I surveyed over 200 boats after Ivan for repairability and cost of rebuilding. None were as bad as this C D 25. I suspect they will have to pay someone to chain saw, mash and haul to the dump. This boat does not appear to have any salvagable parts from the photos. There were lots of free boats on the Gulf coast which are repairable.
