On Saturday we picked up our new CD-25 from Les and Kathy at EQ Marine and drove her from Cornet Bay to her new home in Edmonds dry storage. Some initial observations from a boater of limited experience (none with a C-Dory):
- I love the way the boat handles, including reverse; and the visibility in all directions as well.
- I discovered quickly that you really do have to slow down with this hull when approaching significant wakes. Toby, our spaniel, went flying off his seat on the first one.
- The Honda 135 is amazingly quiet and smooth. What a difference from my experience with 2-strokes.
- I'm in love already with the autopilot. The basic functions of the C-80 gps/depth/radar/vhf/autopilot were easy to pick up with a little hands-on instruction from Les.
- I highly recommend EQ. My wife, Diane and I both agree the buying experience was a positive one. We felt like Les' wealth of experience, plus lots of time looking at C-Brats, helped us get a boat with the 'right' options for us. We also felt EQ gave us good value for the money. And I'm very happy with the quality of the rigging.

Anyway, the boat is gorgeous and I'm chomping-at-the-bit to be out there. See you on the water!

Welcome aboard! Being in Redmond, and dry storage in Edmonds, you'll find a wealth of great places to explore right here in the Central Puget Sound...hope to see you out on the water!
