WOW, what a weekend!!!!!!
I want to thank everyone for making this event the best ever. We unoficially had 62 rooms reserved at the Hawthorn.157 room nights. we had approximatly 125 people at the party on Friday night and it was great to see so many of you. the only problem was, that even with the name tags, I still failed to meet some of you.
On Saturday night, the open house and dinner at the factory was quite the bash. A estimated 250 +/- were in attendance.the surprise visit of the Seattle Seafair Pirates made for a very colorfull addition to the theme of the party. My observation was that the keg got empty mighty fast once the pirates showed up....lol.....

Thank you ,C-Dory Company, for a wonderfull time at your factory. the food was great and the garage sale was a hit. I saw a lot of supplies being taken out the door for pennies on the dollar. also thank you for supplying us with the comp. tickets to the boat show. we were responsible for approximatly 165 tickets being dispersed. I hope that everyone who wanted tickets was able to get them

One other piece of business that got overlooked at the Friday night gathering was for us to have a moment of silence for a fellow C-Brat that departed us in 2006 I would like to at this time ask everyone to take a moment in memory of Norm S. Rose

Finally got my hands on a couple of photos from the events... For those of you/us who enjoyed the Argosy Locks Cruise during the boat show C-Brat events, you all know we had a great time....and what weather we had for sure. My Mom's 1st trip to the Seattle area and I think it is safe to say she had a blast!!

Great fun...great day on the water.

Pat - You could at least have mustered some five o'clock shadow for that photo! What kind of pirate has big ol' rosy cheeks around a huge, cheesy smile?

Acutally, you guys have convinced me - I'll have to try to get up there next year.

Mike Taylor, His boat the Pappilon, traveled from Naples Florida,( 2,978 miles), to come to the Seattle Boat Show and CD gathering. he won the prize for traveling the farthest. here is a pic of his prize

I keep meaning to ask you, but keep forgetting. Did you make that fine sculpture? It certainly made a great gift for the person that traveled the farthest!

No, sadly I did not make it. I found it at the country store(skagit farmers supply) in Stanwood. they have a lot of nice ones to choose from. I was able to get them to sell it at cost to me so it wasn't to much out of pocket.

That smile was because I was preying that the C-Brat from Little Cayman Island hadn't sneaked in the back door on me. I have the plaque hanging front and center in my home. The Puget Sound holds great memories for me and I was very pleased with Roger's selection of gifts not to say a little S1000 auto pilot wouldn't have been put to good use too.....
