On the new 28 drawing,

Its not only longer but wider at 9'6" and the hull is tall enough to have a stand up head in the forward cabin. Seats 4 adults at the dinette (on starboard behind the helm), two at the helm and a one on a fixed co-pilot seat in front of the port side galley.

May have an inboard diesel driving a prop in a half tunnel.

Price??? Should be under $200,000!!!

A completed boat could be ready for viewing in May-June 07.

And it looks like a C-Dory!

Also seen at the factory party,

There was a drawing of a 22 with no cabin and a stand up console with t-top.

The hull is the same as the 22 cruiser/angler.

Florida/SE fishermen, this one's for you!!

But alas, it's too good to be true. Way out of my price range.

Hey Larry.... I thought you wanted a 14' C-Dory ???? as a tender fer your Yacht ..... I looked at those designs....and I really like the expanded new boat.... looks like a jumbo 22 cruiser....28' Wow...I would get lost in all that space... but I really like the idea of a inboard diesel... that's trailerable...(with a permit) even though it would take a 3 axle trailer and a big truck to pull er...

Boy that was some party....the factory folks really went all out... that alone was worth the trip for us....we loved it.. plus that yard sale was super...we bought so much stuff we coulden't haul it all...thanks to Chris who drove from San Diego we will get it delivered....

Joel,

I would like to have a CD 14 as a tender. Anyone got one for sale?

There is no way I could afford a CD 28. For that price one could get a Tom Cat for zooming and a 22 Angler for fishing/shrimping.

What a great time!! This was our first official SBS C-Brat/Factory gettogether and what fun it was. Patti and I thank all of you who worked so effectively to make this thing come together. We met more people than we can remember and not a single one we wanted to forget. Meeting the mysterious Byrdman of Tennessee, why that alone was worth the price of admission, wait...wait. There was no price of admission!! Just a love for C-Dory's and a willingness to "just be nice". The Brats were a major factor in our decision to buy C-Cakes and every meeting just proves what a good decision that was (the boat's pretty nice too!).

We also had a great time this weekend. My parents came with us and they enjoyed the trip.

Before I saw how nice the weather was I was not too interested in the Lock cruise - sure glad we went! My first time through a lock and now my Mom wants to do a Panama Canal cruise.

I can't add much except repeat what everyone else has said. Robbin and I had a great time. Friday night was so much fun in a nice relaxed atmosphere with friends and soon to be friends.
The factory out did themselves. I think back to 2003 when we had the party at the motel Chivita managed. There may have been 40 people at that gathering and today it has grown to 200 plus. It is an amazing group and something I am proud to be a part of.

Thanks to all who made this event possible, we had a great time, we didn't get to meet everyone, but there is always next year. We hope to attend some gatherings on the water later on and continue these new friendships.
My wife Toni took some pictures and we have posted them our album, unretouched, and in no particular order. Thank you all again.

Russ & Toni Thank you for all the great photos. I believe you got just about every Brat at least twice.

For those of you that missed the link to their album, it is HERE.

Rick,

Yes, the new 22 looks a lot like that. The consol was farther forward and with a T-top.

That new boat should be a flat water hot rod with the cabin weight removed.

We had a wonderful time at the SBS & the CBC. Many thanks to Roger, C-Dory and everyone else involved in making this such a memorable weekend. It would have been absolutely perfect if Dusty and Les could have been there. We missed you guys!

WOW, what a special weekend. Since we are really new to the C-Dory we didn't know what to expect, but whatever, our expectations were far exceeded! The Hawthorne dinner was great, and what a pleasure to meet so many wonderful folks who all were there to enjoy the company of the rest who all enjoy their C-Dory craft, no matter which size or in how many pieces Wink Then the Factory tour, dinner, prizes and sharing was just way over the top. Thanks to all those who worked so hard to get it all together, and to the factory crew from the owners, dealers to the parts and supply room folks. They are all special and Deena and I want to say thanks all around. It was nice to meet and chat and we are looking forward to some good CBGT times to come. Thanks again and it was our pleasure to get to be there. You all are great!! Very Happy Thumbs Up
