I need some inputs, from the experienced. I just
installed a Intellimap480 gps and I am trying to
decided what software to get, and I am a little
confused, most of my boating is going to be North and
South Carolina coast and some off shore , not to far
off shore, and some of the lakes in South Carolina. I
am leaning to Nauticpath, but would appriciate any
input you all could provide.

Thank you Paul

Hmm.. I'm not familiar with either product. Not sure if any other's on here are. You might jump over to www.thehulltruth.com and look in the electronics forum.

The Intellimap is made by Eagle who's parent company is Lowrance. This means that you should be able to run either the NauticPath or Navionics via an SD card chip. I would ask some of your local people what works better. Here in the Puget Sound region I actually found the Navionics to have more information on the charts than the NauticPath and so I went that route. But the NauticPath charts are certainly the right price!
